FALL GARDENING TIPS
PLANT PLANT PLANT!
Fall is the ideal time to plant, largely in part because it promotes good root growth as the cooler weather and shorter days helps enable the root system to thrive before the cold summer weather sets in again
Check on irrigation
As the days shorten and temperatures cool, plants will start needing less water than during the summer months. Gradually follow the season and reduce your watering. But keep an eye out for those hot, windy fall days or weeks that really dry out plants.
Rejuvenate distressed lawns
September is a great time to rejuvenate distressed lawns. Use fertilizer to help keep them healthy and green available now at the nursery.
Reseed or resod any bare spots.
